Guess who's been on a shopping spree!! It's been a long time since I have been shopping and come home with this much stuff, thanks to my lovely mother who treated me! I was in desperate need of clothes, most of my things have at least one hole in them!

Anyhoo I though I would show you some of my favourite things that I picked up.

I love these shoes from Primark. I didn't know they had a wide fit section so I was super excited when I discovered it. I can get shoes that actually fit me! Yippee and they are super comfy they have like a cushiony bit in them.

The grey shoes are Vans and were a bargainous £24.99! So happy with those. The flip flops are Primark £6 (i think). Necklace £4 Primark and the mint green bag also £4 Primark.

I think this was Nuggets favourite purchase he made sure he got in the photo with it. This bag is from Accessorize. It's actually a light blue which isn't showing up because the lighting was horrendous. It was £32.00.

Both of these were from TKMaxx. The dress is by Pinky and was £14.99 The top is by Amphora and was £16.99.

The navy and white top was from Primark and was £12 I love it. The white one was another TK Maxx bargain, it's by Michael Kors and was £24.99. It's super lightweight so will be perfect for sunny spring/summer days.

I know this is just a boring striped T-shirt but oh my god is it soft. That's basically why I picked it up and it was only £5.99 in TK Maxx.

This is just a few of my favourites from my haul, I didn't want to bore you going through everything. Have you picked up any bargains recently? Would you be interested in seeing some OOTD's?
Let me know :)

Dieting ..... Again!

I have decided enough is enough I need to sort myself out and lose some weight and generally get healthy for my own good! I know this isn't the first time I have said this but I have been so down about the size I now am, I need to do something about it. I am not going to go on yet another faddy diet, they don't work! I am probably about the same weight as I was when I started the celebrity slim diet last year. I feel like doing something like that does shift the weight but it is so easy to put it, and more, back on.

So this time I am taking a totally different approach. I love my food and surprisingly I love a lot of healthier foods. With this in mind I am going to cut out all the unhealthy snacks I have as I'm sure thats my biggest problem. I'm also trying to just switch different parts of my diet to the healthier options. An example of this would be the last few months I have been using almond milk instead of cows milk. I have been doing little switches like this for a while but now that I have a couple of weeks off work I am making some bigger ones.
I am following a lot of vegetarian/vegan gluten free types of recipes. I have never been a big meat eater so cutting that out isn't a problem at all. I was actually a vegetarian for 6 years. I've never been told that I should be eating gluten free but I just feel like I should .
I have decided to try and keep track of what I'm eating with a food diary. It is so hard to be honest in these but I also find myself thinking 'maybe I won't eat that because I will have to write it down'. It should also hopefully help me see where I am going wrong.
I definitely feel better and less bloated when I am eating these sorts of foods so hopefully that's a good sign. I also realise that I need to start doing exercise along with the healthy eating! Oh no! I'm not going to go daft and join the gym all of a sudden but now that the nicer weather is starting I'm going to try and get out walking and on rainy days do some exercise in the house. Probably just following a dvd or a YouTube video.
The final part of my new get healthy plan is I'm going to try and not eat after 7pm at night. I've heard its something you are meant to do. Could be tricky but I'm going to give it a go, it can't hurt to try surely.
I'm going to try and do some posts on the changes I'm making and updates on how I am doing. I am hoping to do a Whats in My Fridge? and a Cupboard Essentials, but at the moment this is what I'm dealing with!

Yeh.... so once that is sorted out hopefully I will get some posts done. Is that something you would be interested in reading?

I am really looking forward to eating healthier and trying some new things. I just feel like this is the way to go. I am not going to stop myself eating anything because I will just crave it and when I finally have it I will eat so much more than if I just allow myself a little bit when I want it. Here's hoping this works.

Do any of you struggle with your weight? Anyone got any tips for me?

Glossybox April 2015

Hey Guys!

It's been quite a while since I did a post on Glossybox but this month's arrived today so I decided I would do a quick post. I have really fallen out of love with Glossybox recently, I just don't feel like the luxury aspect is there as much as it used to be. I do still get excited when it arrives at the door though.

This is actually quite a good box and I know I will get use out of all of it, except the bath pearls because I don't have a bath in my house. I also really love the special box it's so pretty, they do the special boxes so well and I always keep a hold of them. The products included this month are:

Lord & Berry - Full Size Lipstick Pencil in Kiss

Pop Beauty -  Full Size Kajal Eyeliner Pen in Sooty Black

Nougat London - Soothing Bath Pearls 35g

Color Club - Full Size Barely There Nail Polish

Astral Original - Face and Body Moisturiser 50ml Sample

I really like the nail polish and it is totally the kind of shade I would pick up in a shop, a really nice nude. I am a little disapointed that the Astral moisturiser is in there though, it's not really the sort of luxury product I would associate with Glossybox. That said I'm sure I will use it and most of the products in this box. I think I may try out some different beauty boxes in the next few months but I do have a loyalty to Glossybox because I have discovered so many great products through them. I really hate being negative about Glossybox but a review has to be truthful and for me at the moment the quality just doesn't seem quite as good as it has been in the past.

Do you subscribe to Glossybox? What did you think of the box this month?

Nugget is One!!!!!

I can't believe my little baby boy (cat) is one already. He has changed so much since we got him he was barely bigger than a can of juice the day we brought him home, and although he isn't huge now he is compared to that. Graham is convinced he is going to be huge but I think he may just get a little but wider. His mum was tiny and he is about the same size as Jess now just shorter. I know all cats are different and boy and girl cats are different but I'm pretty sure Jess stopped growing around the time she became one. He can be a little pain in the butt at times but I wouldn't change the cheeky little monkey for the world .

Happy Birthday Nugget :)

March Favourites

I feel like a bit of a failure this month, well the last couple of months really. I have been sticking to what I know and I'm comfortable with and really not trying many new things but I really wanted to talk about the few things I have been loving.

Make up wise the only new thing is the Revlon Colorstay foundation. I have been having trouble with oily skin recently and my usual foundation just wasn't working so after a bit of research I found that this one was meant to be good with oily skin, and it really is. I don't think I can't away with it when my skin is its usual self though, but if you are struggling with oily skin I highly recommend it.

The Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub is an old favourite although I haven't had any for a while and just repurchased this month so I decided it was worth including. I absolutely love this stuff it is so refreshing and my skin always feels so soft and amazing after using it. It is a little bit pricey but it's a huge tub and was on 3 for 2 in boots for mother's day so whilst buying gifts for my mum and mother in law I decided the free thing should be a treat for myself :)

The boots are a bit of a random favourite. I think I bought them last year or the year before from New Look so you can't get them anymore but I have only recently started wearing them all the time. I always pick flats over heels these days so when I do decide to wear heels it hurts. I really want to be able to wear heels more often and these are a nice size and actually quite comfortable and just makes an outfit that little bit smarter. I loves them!

And finally cookies! So healthy! These are the cookies I made using a recipe out of Tanya Burr's book Love Tanya. OH MY GOD! They are so yummy and so easy to make and massive! I loved them so much I made them twice in one week!! It's really not good for my diet/ healthy eating but everyone needs a treat right?

Have you tried anything new this month? What are you loving?
